Due to the outstanding success of the Portland Race, you are strongly
urged to take public transportation to the Race if possible!
MAX trains and Tri-Met or C-Tran buses are a great way to go, though
allow yourself extra time in any case! Extra MAX trains will
be added on Race Day, and they will still be very busy!

More MAX trains and buses on five major lines will be running to
get people to and from the Race for the Cure on Sunday, Sept. 19.
MAX will run about every 10 minutes, starting at 6 AM until 3 PM.
In addition to regular Sunday bus service, these lines will run
every 15 minutes to downtown from 6 AM until 8:30 AM:
8-NE 15th Ave
12-Barbur Blvd
15-Belmont
33-McLoughlin
54/56-Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy/Scholls Ferry Rd
Regular fares apply. A convenient option is TriMets new Quik
Tik, which costs $3 and is good for six hours from when it is bought.
To plan your trip see www.tri-met.org or call 503-238-RIDE weekdays
between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM.
